. . . And a Happy New Year to all our players.

Hopefully, we begin the new year as we mean to go on with a points-fest - but that is all sown to Kate Mepham (Km Links) and Christiana (MM Links)

Both cames kick off in Q & P tomorrow morning and new players are always welcome.
Basically they are just guessing games where you are invited to suggest what 4 words might link with 4 declared word to make a new words or phrases.

The KM Version starts early on Saturday morning and is managed by Seekeerz, Play anytime over the weekend with an equal chance of points.

The MM version is set by one of our own - this month by Christiana. That game starts with an introduction at 8:45 and the challenge words are revealed at 9am prompt. More points there are available to early players so a prompt start is advised.

The start of your post encouraged me to sing the theme music from the Billy Cotton Band Show at the top of my voice, Gen2 - not a pretty sound, and one that dates me horribly...

Afraid it dates me, too, Tearinghair. I used to love some of the peculiar songs they sometimes sang - I seem to recall something like "John Jacob Winkleheimer Smith". And another about a great big wooden thing floating in the bay.
