Spooky Occurance

I just went into kitchen to make myself a sandwich. While I was there the sound of the electric kettle boiling took my attention. I did not turn it on. I dont drink tea or coffee in the evening, so know for sure I did not press the button on it. Was nowhere near. Explanation anybody!
I came on here and looked to see if we have a "Supernatural" topic but not finding one have posted this question here.

That is odd Pasta. Sounds like there are quite a few here quite accepting of what are not easily explained happenings.

we had a front door bell that was no longer connected, wire cut etc but every now & then it would chime, quite spooky we always said it was "spirits " entering the house and we would say hello to various relatives who had passed on, a medium once told me that spirits could not visit our house as our dogs[2] barked too much and drove them away.

Joko was right! It is a fault with the kettle. Went in kitchen this morning and it was on. Almost empty. So logical explanation rather than spooky .....
