Artists and photographers, advice on Library work!

I am a photographer/illustrator and I know that some artists use Picture Libraries as an extra source of income. Anyone out there do the same? What does it entail? Is it worth the pay? and which are the 'good' libraries?

Try the Writers' and Artists' Yearbook, in your local reference library, for a start;. This should have a full list of such places with contact numbers and addresses etc. You can then ring round and get some feel for what they offer and their usefulness.
