Iv started sterilising bottles for expressing milk using boiled water but once dried, bottles and breastpump parts have a fine chalky white residue, basically from limescale im guessing as we live in hard water area.
I cant wipe it off without making bottles un-sterile so would this do any harm for my baby?? Thanks

I would use Milton or sterilising tablets in cold water, then there is no need to dry them just drain the sterilising solution out and use as they are.
I thought they were suppose to be rinsed after using sterilising tablets?
Try steam or water filters are available that remove lime.

Ummm sterilising tabs say 'do not rinse'. They are no longer sterile if you rinse them in tap water. We have 2 of our baby grandkids staying at the moment so I've had to learn these things.
