Conservatory Cleaning

Has anybody got any ideas on the best way to clean a conservatory roof ( the ornamental plastic bit in the middle that looks very frail) with probably about 3 or so years of green muck on it?

I've cleaned the glass bit with a hose and broom but dont want to go smacking the plastic bit with a broom as i know it'll break, i've tried jetwashing it but that doesnt seem to work too well and i know i'll end up convering nextdoors house with water/green muck. The only upvc cleaners i've seen involve rubbing afterwards, but obviously you cant get to it too easily.

I used to clean mine with a soft broom with a bit of washing up liquid and then rinse it off with a hose. It's not as fragile as you think.

Try something called "OXYCIF" - from most supermakets - smells a bit, but works wonders.
