What Was The David Bowie Album.....?
When I was a kid in the early 80s, my sister had a Bowie LP which I think was called 'Profile'. I seem to remember that it was a 'cheapo' album, possibly on the mfp label. One of the tracks was called The Little Bombardier. Does anyone else remember this? If so, any suggestions on where I might obtain a copy?

Old boundary Lane has new builds on it but the old large sheds at the back, have businesses in them. The Factory came down in record time. They also built a retail park at the end of Burscough St (North) not a lot of business, Halfords is just about hanging on.

I saw Bowie in M'cstr late 68 I think and he played Space Oddity using a Rolf Harris 'Stylophone' and guitar. He was third on the bill. I can't remember if it was the Free trades Hall or the Odeon, but Humble Pie were headlining. ( It were a fortune to get in, 5/6d)
Just for Dotty, I saw Slade get bottled off in the Church House 'cos they were not a real skinhead band. Oh the times we had. ;-)

Dotty, going off tangent for a mo' do you know anything about the the reason the SNIGS FOOT was called the snigs foot? That is the pub that was opposite the picture house, Church St. (not the fleapit in Moor st.) It is now a tesco express or something. The pub is now called Disrailies with a gay disco upstairs. Oh well, if it makes them happy.
