There have been a couple of occasions recently when I have needed to read documents sent to me in PDF format.
Can you please advise me how to add this facility to my laptop.

I have to open .pdf documents with Adobe Acrobat - do you have that installed on your computer?

Adobe reader is the 'standard' for reading PDFs but its a clunking great bit of software, after Chuck & Rojash recommended it I now use Foxit and am very happy http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/ it is free as is indeed the basic Adobe
