Irritable Skin... Any Suggestions For Washing?

I've recently experienced a small mild rash in my groin area. Have been to see the doctor, and the advice was simply to wash with salt water.

When I asked for further advice, the doctor suggested aqueous cream might be suitable.

My question is simply, does anyone know of any branded washing products that are kind/gentle to the skin? I will of course follow doctor's advice, but just wondered if I might have any further options available to me?

Thanks as always for any help!!

calendula ointment/cream good for many skin problems. You can also simmer marigold flowers for a few minutes and bathe with the water works wonders.
I'd use vaseline - keep the area scrupulously dry, then put vaseline to prevent further rubbing.
Not sure on washing products but calendula cream is great for rashes and soreness .
I must try that !
If you use on brand of washing powder change for something different. Maybe non biological.

Aqueous cream is brilliant for many dry skin conditions.

Try a health food shop and ask for their advice. Its best to avoid main stream branded products as they contain strong chemicals and petroleum.

Calendula (dervied from marigolds) will defininitely be on their list along with products containing tea tree or aloe vera.
I am not in any way doubting the advice of your doctor, but if this hasn't happened already, I would just ask your GP or indeed pharmacist if you could have a blood test to exclude diabetes.
Wash undies in non bio product - Bold Gel is best - no powder residue.
Treat effected area with Sudocrem nappy rash cream.
There are a few washing powders/gels for sensitive skin which I always use. I buy the ones on offer . I ALWAYS use a fabric conditioner for sensitive skin.
an aqueous cream will only stop the area getting moist if there is a rash i suspect it could be a sweat rash or mild thrush and you can get creams from the chemist that will help..
