Concealer to cover up dark circles under the eyes
18 Answers
Hi,
Does anyone know of any good concealers to cover up very dark shadows under the eye? Maybe one that has a thick, opaque consistency and drys so that it's smudge-free?
Thanks!

Lol@ askyourgran. It's true that my water intake isn't as high as it should be, but as i far as i can remember i've had these for quite some years now, and my Dad has the same thing. I actually bough MAC's Select cover-up concealer but it doesn't dry which meant that the whole lot came off when i tried patting it into my skin or blending it out around the eye :S
I've tried loads of these and usually end up looking like I've been out in the sun but kept my sunglasses on - you know the look, big white circles round your eyes. I bought this stuff - it's dead cheap and it's got a yellowish tinged one for your eyes which looks a lot more natural, and it's quite thick so it doesn't rub off. At £1.50 it's worth a try!

forget all the expnsive stuff or 'preventative' creams. you are genetically predisposed to have them and thay will stay put, whatever you stick on them. i have the same problem and have spent lords knows how much on trying to solve the problem. what you need is a good cover up and this works the best...and its well cheap! x

Be careful with Touche Eclat as I took a bad allergic reaction to it, and upon talking to people in the beauty industry, I found that this is very common! Try a patch test with it from a beauty counter before spending your money!
A good cheapy alternative is the Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch, it is good and thick (rather than just light reflecting) and stays put!
