Just seen pics of snow in Jerusalem which is supposedly now...yet looking on the weather website,it is showing up as sunny today with a temperature of 14C...??????????

Jerusalem got cut off by snow at least twice in the 1970s. The road and rail links from Tel Aviv are very steep, as Jerusalem is so high. The Israelis don't keep snow- ploughs, but send out the army with shovels, since snow is so rare. But when frost hits Israel, it ruins the crops of jaffas and other tender fruits.
