Norton Anti virus subscription expired - What should i do now?

Should i renew the subscription? what is this key i need to enter to do so? How much does it cost? Is it worthwhile given i go on the internet a lot and use file sharing sites?

Yes you should, the license key is the code on side of packaging or maybe on disc, it does not matter how often you go on interet, recent studies show that an unprotected pc will only take 15 mins to become infected when online. You might also want to try a frre virus checking download such as AVG.

I use three pieces of software on my PC for protection, and they are all free.

AVG Anti Virus - http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1

Adaware for spyware etc. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

I think all three companies do chargable versions so they are all reputable companies.

Make sure you download the FREE versions, I have the free versions of all three so they do exist.

...mm...if you aren't short of a copper or two then renew the subs...having said that, it will cost around �25 for the AV and another �25 for the Firewall.....NOT cheap as this is every year...but cheaper than getting infected on a regular basis....commoner

unistall Norton and install AVG, its free and better than norton.

i agree with veryhelpfulguy - but you can also add spybot which is al;so free.
