The later two I'm aware of being shot in Australia, in Sydney I think. The Matrix was filmed there. I think that was how it was written about at the time... That Rick McCallum(sp?) was taking a leaf out of Joel Silver & the Wachowski brother's book and moving there. Although almost certainly this was planned out in advance.
I told a lie (i've been looking on IMDB.com), apparently Phantom Menace was filmed in LEAVESDON studios, not Pinewood. But in the UK.
Also, "Because the producers had already secured a release date, the production couldn't find studio space. They ended up shooting much of the interiors in a converted Asda (the British branch of Walmart) warehouse."
This has nothing to do with your question.
This does: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0121766/locations apparently there WAS shooting in the UK in both Elstree and Shepperton.
