There may be a lot of panic due to the weather forecast for Frid, I'll leave with a tip If I may,

We all need work, some work for their family.

A car is metal, you can not compaire it to your family.

Time is a thing we all have plenty of,

But some do not have, Friday you'll see,

Take your time if working tomorrow,

I'd hate to hear, that your family has sorry.

Work will be there, even if you are slow,

Remember you people, you will not beat snow.

Even over in our part of the East Midlands, Morrisons had some empty shelves this morning, aren't people idiots, they surely won't starve!
I went out today after work, I bought cat food, toilet rolls, and two bars of chocolate. That's me sorted.
Ann I am NOT going outside tomorrow. I had to leave at 7am this morning. It was -10. And then I had a hideous journey. I am staying in with the heating on full and it can do its worse.

I have no milk nor bread but I have wine so that's ok then.
Oh! I have milk and bread (and false teeth to eat them with) but no wine... so perhaps.....
Have noticed its been very cold over your way Barmaid, we just missed that here I think, not quite as cold as you. I think we may miss the worst of the snow tomorrow in the East, it seems to be the West who will get the deeper snow according to the forecast.
There's always Tesco beefburgers to eat.............
Hate to say it but the shyte coming your way - it's foul down here with driving rain on a good blustery wind, 4C at the moment....thought to be some flurries around 2am but nothing will stick.
Nay DT .............not Tescos beefburgers LOL ...
According to the forecast DT you miss all the snow tomorrow - you get horrid miserable rain, we get the pretty white stuff ;)
Prudie, who said that?
I know I shall be all right (I think). The milkman called today (yes I have got a milkman since last tuesday. I happened to be looking out of the window and saw him passing so I rushed out (well toddled out slowly but he saw me waving at him) and I now have a milkman who also delivers bread and a limited amount of fruit (satsumas or clementines or whatever they are called). So I have milk, fruit and bread and also plenty of stuff in the freezer and fridge. Provided the water supply stays on and of course, gas and electricity I have no bother. Apparently it was like pre-Christmas in Waitrose with everyone panic buying. It usually only lasts a week or so in this country, but you never know there could be an exception.
Its pretty hard to have lots of emergency food in for all my lot, I can probably stretch to Wednesday if they are not too fussy about what I feed them.
Better to arrive late than DEAD on time.
Went out and bought part baked bread rolls, loo roll and a bottle of Scotch.
Have plenty of wild bird seed and suet pellets. Ready to batten down the hatches but probably won't need to do so.
Freezer fairly well stocked.
So lucky not to have to travel if the snow comes. Some perks to being retired.
Keep safe and warm.
Yes daisy I went in Morrisons and came out laden with food .............. for the birds! Cheap bread, raisins, suet, grapes and cheap apples.... they get fed better than us in this house!
