Coming from Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, where it really only snows up on the Drakensberg Mountains, I am enjoying seeing it falling and creating a winter wonderland. Am I the only one? However, I must admit I dont have to venture out into it.
missprim, not me, the hotter the better, though i confess going abroad to Greece once and didn't see the fact that the sun setting would be a problem, sitting outside sharing a joke and a beer with a friend, it wasn't till next day realised i had third degree burns down my legs, i had to sit in a bath of cold water for hours to ease the pain, but you learn from these mishaps.
When my son was in primary school he had a new teacher who also had never seen snow. One winters day it did indeed start to snow and she was so excited she abandoned the lesson and took all the kids out onto the field to make a snowman - he has never forgotten that.
Hi Scylax, wonder where I was when Durban had that phenomenon? And hi to Parkdale, yes it's rather risky to live in South Africa now, but I am also surprised at the amount of crime in the U.K.
