Outlook Express 6/address Boook

Stupidly, I deleted all my e mail contacts from the side bar. On trying to fix this (!) I have managed to lose address book too. The error message tells me that O/express is not configured and to re install. I have no disc for this. Any help (in laymans language, please) would be much appreciated. \]Thank you.

Thank you, I have saved these answers for future reference. Husband , not a computer user of any regularity, suddenly pipes up with "have you tried system restore"? Never thought of it. Worked like magic! One smug husband!
