Got two puzzlers with some possible suggested answers. Can I have your views please ?
12 = AW of C ... Apostle Witnesses of Christ, Alternative Works of Chaucer, Atomic Weight of Carbon ?
40 = T (in D) ... Tops (in Darts) ? Any other suggestions, as I'm not convinced about this one ?
Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.These ditloids are getting a bit obscure now aren't they. However I would go with 12 = Atomic Weight of Carbon - my Channel 4 booklet 'An A-Z of the Elements' has the atomic weight of carbon as 12 so think it is safe to presume the number would be rounded down in most instances. The other possibilties just do not seem right - Apostle Witnesses of Christ just too unbelievable - for me anyway.
40 = Tops (in Darts) does look right but has this answer not come up in the quiz before, Russo62?
I'll go with the carbon answer ... many thanks Flamingo97
The reason why I'm not convinced is that in the same quiz I have 40=DT in D, which is Double Top in Darts. Why have the same question twice ? I think it's the wrong way around and should be 40=D (in T) ... Duece (in Tennis) ? But what can I do ??
Russo62, you may like to know someone agrees with 12 = Atomic Weight of Carbon. Perhaps you have seen this but if not:

Oops I am guessing you have looked into this quite a bit, Russo62!!! have now found a site that says 12 = Alternative Works of Chaucer is correct:

Sorry, I'm not being much help - to say the least!!
