I was hacked so following Ins changed my password on twitter, I then changed email add. to be on safe side. Twitter ack this, then later reset my password.Since then I have req new password but no, just auto responses, then locked out twice. Followed all ins, now totally stumped.
Message says " Sorry we couldn't verify that the user requested a password change" Before that the message said"Link is timed out try again, and I did 10 times!!! Dosn't recog my user name even though they quote it in email or my phone No. even though I had an app. Help
No, had already checked. Now back in, seems if you use Twitter on your phone "support" really only want to reset your password with phone details. Didn't accept my phone number until I put+44 in front. Fairly basic I suppose.
