samsung e350 mp3s!!

ive recently got a samsung e350 and i cant see to get mp3s on it!! ive got a usb cabel and installed and uninstalled the software a number of times and it still doesnt seem to work! i have worked out how to actually get them on but it says tht only (*mmf) files are compatible whatever they are and not mp3 files! is this maybe because i havent got the proper network usb cabel but a cheaper version!? someone please help!!

are you trying to upload them into your ringtones file on the phone ? If you open up the software with your phone and cable attached (if i remember right) you have to also open up the particular file in your phones memory (displayed on pc screen) where you want the mp3 to go, (being the music file) then go back to the pc side and select your mp3 and highlight it, then you should have an upload button on the screen, press that.

Once it is in your phones memory, it will be under music or downloaded files, this is where you can then choose the option 'set as ringtone' hope this helps.

orite thanks ill try it! was i doing it right so far though ? ok the pim manager or whatever its called on the melody to phone or is that just for shorter songs???
