Flybe appear to have cancelled their route from edinburgh to liverpool. Does anyone know of any other airline that flies from edinburgh or glasgow direct to liverpool?

Thanks for the answer but I can't get hold of Easyjet to check and they certainly don't book that route online - so if anyone can confirm that route or come up with another idea.....

It would appear, having checked the websites of most airlines and the websites for Edinburgh and Glasgow airports that now FlyBe have stopped those routes, there is no one flying to Liverpool from either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Obviously if you want to fly soon its no help at all but usually if one airline pulls out of a route, another will pick it up fairly quickly. Easyjest may well do so soon, it may be worth calling them to see if they have any plans to offer that route. Or try the same with BMI.

Flybe are a nightmare as far I'm concerned - they are constantly cancelling routes and then making a big fanfare about new routes which they then pull out of before the first flight goes!

Your other option is to fly to Manchester and take a train (it's not far) or just take a train the whole way!

Re flights from either Edinburgh or Glasgow to Liverpool, if anybody can confirm any airline that now does this route, it would be very much appreciated.

I too would be interested in anyone who operates a route Edinburgh or Glasgow to Liverpool.

In the meantime BMI baby do Edinburgh to Manchester.
