if you were in a car accident and had a spinal injury as a result, but the car was leaking fuel and would be alight very soon, would you want your family/friends/etc to get you out?. Even though you know you may be paralysed as a result, or would you tell them to go, and get away from the burning car and leave you to die?

Would you rather live paralysed, or be dead?

Apologies to anyone that is/has been affected by this situation.

Is she coping well, Noxy?
Not nice for Nox to read, or others who may be upset by it .......
Actually yeah she is, her mother and I are not together as you probably know and she splits her time between us and her mother's ex as well. They were quite hopeful with her being so little when it happened that she might do better than she has but she does have some touch sensation and some temperature sensation in one leg and is not incontinent which is great for her. She just gets on with it, she had a thing called a wizzy which was a little toddlers wheelchair type thing and she's now got a 'proper' child's electric wheelchair, but she's going on grand and doesn't let a lot stop her doing most things, except running around obviously. I think being so little she's coped better than an adult would have tbh:)
Don't worry Ann, I'm not upset but thanks for thinking of me, Pleb seems to be in a bit of a dark place at the moment I think, a lot of her questions are a bit negative, but she seems like a nice person.
Are you perhaps depressed phleb? I ask this because of your previous post. People imagine all sorts of dark thoughts if you are feeling ill and/or depressed. Please see your doctor.

Ann, Nox is not sensitive.

Thats good Nox, I remember you saying when it happened. You're a good dad, your kids are strong x
How sad for you Nox, we really feel for you and the family. You have a little fighter there, bless her ........ x
Thank you both, she's grand and I'm very proud of her and how she just gets on with it all:)
