Loose skin (eeuw!)
Hi, I've recently lost ovr 3 stone with Weight Watchers and still would like to lose 2/3 more.
I've noticed that me skin is nowhere near as firm as it used to me and I'm getting increasingly worried because I still have more to lose. Eek!
I wondered if anyone has any tips or ideas as to how I can reduce this as much as possible.
Thanks.

Sorry to tell you this but there's no way to actually stop it happening, losing weight slowly will minimise it, and keeping your water intake up will help with the elasticity of the skin. But you should be doing both of those with weight watchers anyway.
Toning excersises will help muscle definition and will help with the appearance. Ultimately if you're unlucky enough to get large skin flaps, surgery is the only solution.
Please don't let this put you off though, you've done brilliantly already, i bet your life is very different than it was 3 stone ago. Best of luck.
Hi Helster!
If you are losing weight then you should combine it with exercise. When you put weight on your skin grows to make room for the excess weight. You also loose alot of muscle tone when you dont exercise, you need to exercise to firm/tighten muscles. If you are at a weight where you are unable to do high impact sports ie running, step machine etc. You can visit your GP who might be able to refer you to a gym, if he/she does you are usually allowed to attend the gym for FREE and they will design a programme that best suits you! Good Luck
