I personally find the hard clear plastic that encases so many things these days, from a pack of batteries to packs of pens etc.
The thin plastic film that encases a new DVD.
The caps on small bottles of mineral water.
And what about bananas, at one time I remember one could take hold of the stalk at the end of the banana bend it back and so continue to unzip the banana, not now though, why is this?

It seems that monkeys and apes etc. (Who are credited with being the experts on the subject) open them by squeezing the end opposite the stalk and then peeling them. Tried it and must admit that it seems better.
That hard plastic that has to be cut to get into the item, it is really sharp and i've been sliced by it many times.
Toy cars tend to be attached to the packaging with a screw, when I used to buy them for my son it meant I had to carry a screwdriver in my handbag all the time in case I bought him one when we were out and about.

Yes very strange regarding bananas, and I agree monkeys must be the experts on the subject, but I wonder if monkeys of old once opened them at the stalk end, because as sure as damn we once did, and with no trouble whatsoever.
It's the same with oranges these days, how many are easy peelers, or does one struggle with first the peel and then spend ages picking off all the white pith like skin.
