Revolts Against Rome
10 Answers
Boudicca famously tried and failed in a revolt against the Roman occupation. Did any leader anywhere succeed in such a revolt ?

The nearest one might be the battle of Adrianople, when Goths who'd been allowed to settle in the empire just a few years before beat Valens and his army in 378.

Can't see that Boudicca made much difference. Don't think a revolt in the middle of the first century AD hurt the Romans much, even if rivalled elsewhere; they went on for a goodly while after that, most of it in prosperity. Am inclined to give the prize to the Germanic tribes who revolted and whose lands were never retaken.
A little further afield, what about Lenin, Gaddafi to name but a few ... a few clicks and I discovered https:/ /en.wik ipedia. org/wik i/List_ of_revo lutions _and_re bellion s
