I would like to convert a lot of Quark files to InDesign. Can anyone recommend a free application that could help with this?
Many thanks

(There's a plug-in available for InDesign but it costs over 100 and, I believe, is only available for the Mac).
If the Quark files are from early versions of the program (v1 to v4), InDesign should be able to import them directly. Files from Quark XPress 5 need to be opened and saved to QXP4 files. Files from QXP6 need to opened and saved to QXP5, then re-opened and saved to QXP4.
