Help! I can't connect to the internet!!, can anyone suggest anything please?

So when you go to settings and then look at wifi what is showing there??

can you connect to the net bu any other piece of kit? ie is it a router problem or an ipad problem?

Under choose a network it's showing my home BTHomeHub - but there's a padlock sign near it

It must be my IPad because my 'normal' pc's connected

you need to put the wifi security code into your ipad to use your wifi, the code is normally found on your homehub

That means that it's secured with a password/key (which is how it should be).
You need to enter the password to connect to it.

Is that the 'key'? (on the hub)... if so where do I enter it? I'm so sorry to be so dumb!
