I ordered a bed from John Lewis which arrived with a dirty mark on the base. Because I needed the bed quickly...well you never know....I accepted it with a 25% discount which would be credited to my card. It never has so today I called Customer Services.
After giving them all the numbers on my invoices...damage allowance sheet etc. it seems I never ordered a bed.....it was an ironing board!
Now I know I don't like visitors staying overnight but even I wouldn't make one sleep on an ironing board.
So which of you turned my bed into an ironing board?

I believe John Lewis!
I cannot tell a lie.......
Point is did you pay for a bed or ironing board?
If its an ironing board that was ordered and delivered they you'll be wanting a massive refund to cover the price difference.

Well I paid for a bed....daughter slept in it and didn't complain. It looks like a bed....I'm sure it's a bed.
You get a bed and pay board prices? Bonus!
I bet that was the most expensive ironing board you've ever bought gness.
Complain about non-delivery of said ironing board and get your money back on that.
ah the dreaded computer system, that is at fault undoubtedly, it's never human error these days...
I'm sure you'll get this problem ironed out gness.
Does it have a quilted cover?

I have one which I inherited with this house and which is very rarely used. I do as little ironing as possible and when I buy anything I look at the label to see if it will need any ironing. If it does it doesn't get bought, well not by me anyway.
