As I have mentioned on here before I have been asked by our local sports & social club to email a monthly newsletter to members (with their permission)
A few people commented that many email providers will only let you email a small amount to cut down on "spam", I have an account with Yahoo and yes it will only allow me to send it in blocks of ten after that a message appears saying message "could not be sent" I then have to wait for about 2 hours before I can send out the next ten.
Can somebody tell me or give me a link to a free email service that will allow me to send out this newsletter in one go, the newsletter is in PDF and there are about 80 members I need to send it to.

Looks like googlemail will serve you well, nice and easy to set up too and reliable, good luck.
I have the same probs, yesterday I sent out around 1200 newsletters, but on most occasions my paid for hosting lets it go, sometimes they get queued but they go after a couple of hours at most.

you might wan to have a look at something like this http://www.campaignmonitor.com/

theres alot of companies that do the same and their freebie limits might be enough to cover you

Google has limits but on occasions when I have used them I havent been stopped.

this is what they say about "bulk" emails:

n an effort to fight spam and prevent abuse, Google will temporarily disable your account if you send messages to more than 500 recipients or if you send a large number of undeliverable messages. If you use a POP1 or IMAP2 client (Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, e.g.), you may only send a message to 100 people at a time. Your account should be re-enabled within 24 hours.

If you communicate with the same group of people on a regular basis, you might be interested in Google Groups.

If you send a large number of undeliverable messages, we suggest verifying your contacts' email addresses. It's also important that everyone you are sending mail to is willing to receive it.

forgot to say that if you had a dedicated domain and hosted email from a provider that will only cost around a £1 per month, and most will allow 100 in a distribution group at a time.
