30 something TV series

Does anyone remember a TV series about a group of Americans in their 30s, called (I think) 30-something? I seem to be the only one who remembers watching it avidly. I think it had Harry Hamlin in it, but I can't be sure. It would have been in the mid to late 80s.

I hated it!
Whining, whishy washy, self absorbed yanks just talking about themselves for 40 minutes!
Me and my girlfriend at the time always used to fall out over it cos she loved it ( i think only girls did!)

I loved that show! Does that confirm I am a girl? I remember the blonde lady got cancer, there were lots of arguments but everyone was beautiful. Remember the end credits, there was a little song it went " Aaaand danced by the light of the moon."

I loved that show, in fact I was trying to find it on dvd. the show was my favorite.
