Grass In Dog Poop?!
15 Answers
Hi there,
Recently I've noticed that theres long blades of grass in my 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier's poop. He's eating well and is generally healthy but is VERY conscious about anyone being near his rear end. He won't let you touch anywhere near his tail without a struggle and trying to lift up his tail to check his behind causes him distress. He's been to the vets recently and was given the all clear but just wondering if this grass eating/rear end thing could be connected somehow??
Any ideas would be wonderful,
Thanks guys

Whatever it was wouldnt drop onto the floor, so Brother had to slowly pull it out of his dog. Unbelievable ---
Yards and yards of knitting wool. Gospel truth and still laugh about it to this day. haha

Dogs do eat grass, mine do, nobody really knows why they do it, some say its for health reasons some say it is just recreational, either way it will do them no harm (generally speaking) and yes sometimes it will pass through their bodies undigested. as for not wanting their bottoms examined, that is perfectly natural I think.
