Orange Phone Network

Does anyone know whether there is a problem with Orange/EE? I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, and since yesterday have been getting 'unable to connect server' when trying to access my emails, and 'website not available' on Google.

I've not had any problems with it. Maybe check your settings that its allowing mobile data exchange?

Not sure if the same as my phone is the s3, but mine is on the pull down notifications menu at the top of the screen. Will check for the ace if I can

Thanks chelle. I followed your link and was just about to ask my question (when I tried to follow the instructions it wanted me to accept additional charges) when the emails started to work again. So it must be an intermittent fault and I'll contact EE if it happens again. Many thanks for your help.

Sorry tearinghair, I was trying to send a link to the android forum, not a paid for service, but was having problems connecting on my phone (ironically enough!).

I also had a few problems yesterday, just for a short while.

i had the same issue for several days a couple of weeks ago. I returned to the shop where i got my phone from and as soon as i told the assistant "im having problems getting a signal" he interupted and said "let me guess Orange?" He said its been happening all over the place because Orange are upgrading systems. He called Orange then gave me a new sim card which activated an hour later with my same number and its been ok since.

Had a text from Orange yesterday, they are changing things from 14th March, maybe the problems are starting early due to this?

Thanks for those last few answers. It seems OK at the moment, but if it happens again I'll try the Orange shop.
