Culpable And Reckless Conduct
Hi, i was out on sunday night (15th Jan 2012) and i was outside on a balcony in a pub late at night and 2 chairs and a table got trown off the balcony and me and a mate were chucked out of the pub and barred from comming back.
The police interviewed everybody, the 2 bar staff, the night porter, my friend and eventually they interviewed me just today, i made no comment (was advised to by lawyer).
Straight after the interview they charged me with culpable and reckless conduct.
What can i expect with this charge?

Who threw the chairs ? That is the crucial question , was it you and / or your mate ? If it was not you why were you and your mate 'chucked out' and why have you been charged. Do you intent to pled guilty or are you intending to plead not guilty and go to trial ? Without this information we can not give a sencible answer.
Was anyone injured by the tables / chairs ? it matters not who threw the tables & chairs but the question is - Who else may have thrown them.
Even with pages of PCs - a fine at the lower end or a CPO at the higher end is the likely outcome in the event your convicted. Although , the Crown have to prove it was you acting alone or you and your pal acting in concert.
