Oysters In Top Restaurant

Is this fair comment to food poisoning from above ?
The usual way of identifying a particular type of food poisoning affecting an individual is by the laboratory analysis of faecal or vomit specimens as well as food samples. Without the results from such analyses, it is very difficult to be conclusive.

Even if they could acquire samples from the batch of oysters, finding or not finding something wouldn't prove anything related to the victim.
Other food (or not) is also irrelevant. They could have a tummy bug caught by touching an infected item then putting their fingers in their mouth.

What about before it? I'm pretty sure the restaurant will not have (or admit to having) any of the oysters left and all utensils will have been washed several times. Your only hope is to contact the local environmental health dept of the council and see whether there are any other reports from people who have eaten there.
