and that rhymes with D, and that stands for dumped. As in dumped upon. You had your turn a few weeks ago: now it's ours. So far we have 25cm, and it shows no sign of abating since the barometer is still falling and the wind is howling from the east. Compared to some parts of Eastern Canada and the NE States, we're relatively lucky however. But, as I've said before, will this deter me from plodding, plunging, and plowing my way across the field to the bar later this afternoon?...Snow way it will:)
We got out of NY just in time last night - supposed to be going back tomorrow but things might go pear-shaped. I hope they keep the airport and train tracks clear in Toronto because I`m going there on holiday next week.
I'm not a fan of musicals; however, the first time I saw that one it stuck with me. Things will be quite normal in Toronto by next week, unless of course there is another major storm.
Approaching 3:30 here, and it hasn't eased up at all. I'm leaving for the bar in about half an hour, so, if you care to join me for a wobbly-pop of seven, memorize my footprint across the field as you pass overhead towards YYZ. Oh, wait a minute, you won't be flying into Toronto during this mess will you? Another time then perhaps...Cheers!
You can have New York`s quota of snow if you like so that I can get there. I do hate going into trendy NY bars in my Timberland boots (they only come out in very severe weather) Let`s just hope they haven`t run out of booze.
