Regarding the hypothetical white family. If everyone in the queue to hug one of the characters was black and/or Asian, with just one white child who got continually ignored, then they too may feel aggrieved and may launch a complaint.

...neither am I aware of any Jew not being allowed membership of any golf club, merely on grounds of their religion.
Since a large proportion of Jews are generally very wealthy Business men, and a large amount of business is carried out on the golf course, I can see no reason why a golf club would possibly refuse them membership.
