I had the answers to their sport quiz back this morning, but not my marked sheet. I do like to see where I went wrong, and can't always remember what I put. Also, nothing to say who the winner was, or how much money the quiz raised. Does anyone else find this annoying?

Hi Jenny. I know this is stable door horse bolted...but it is worth scanning or copying your answer sheet before you send it back. The admin involved with sending the sheets back after they are marked is extra work for the setter.

Yes, that's a good idea Anngel, and I do sometimes take a photocopy of my entry before sending it in. However, I think it's a very poor show if they can't let entrants know how much money they helped to raise, or who won the quiz. It's common courtesy. I am a quiz setter myself, so I know that while I'm sending off answer sheets in peoples s.a.e.s, it's no trouble to put their marked entry in the envelope as well, so they can see how they did.

Hi Big Jenny just seen your latest post. I also have the same problem as you, in spite of putting an s.a.e. in the envelope and writing on the quiz I sent in please send my original quiz back marked and the name of the winner and amount raised, I either get a photocopy of the answers and not my original quiz back or, they send me the the quiz back unmarked without knowing how well I have done with a number in the corner which probably is the number in the draw . I have seldom known who the winner was or the amount raised. I am a quiz setter myself, and when someone encloses as s.a.e. I always send their original quiz back marked, corrected, and the name of the winner and the amount raised. I think it is only manners to do that.
Also which is not necessary, if a person is fairly local, and they have not sent in an s.a.e. I try to hand deliver it marked etc.,
