Horsey Meat

I think I have just found the answer to our current problem regarding horse meat in our Daily Burger.

If we re-name the Horse as a Tall Cow, then I think we have it made...its as simple as that. !

Couldn't we just call it "equus", then let it all blow over :)

not just in burgers though, you could call it a Clydesdale pattie if you like, but it's still horse...

I don't object to eating horsemeat as long as I know I'm eating it, I have done so out of UK and enjoyed it.
However I would now want to know it's not been pumped full of Equine drugs that have not been manufactured with human consumption in mind, and that I think is going to be a bit harder to find out.

i guess it's ok if you know what it is, horsemeat, if it says beefburgers, then that is what you are supposed to get, beef..

Well, IMO, if you order horse & get horse, then no problem.... Order beef & get beef, same again, no problem..... It's the mucking about that gets my goat!!!!
