Question About Gelatin & Making Sweets

I have found some gelatin and what I was going to do was boil up some berries then add the gelatin and stick them in the freezer. Will this make chewy real fruit sweets? It will be a total experimental thing but I want to make some healthy sweet kinda things for my kids.

omg I have just found out what gelatin is actually made from.. Forget this question its going in the bin as soon as I get home. Vomm

agar agar is made from seaweed i think, that's veggie

No really didn't know glad I found out before I started experimenting I still feel sick just thinking about it! Now I will be on the hunt for agar agar then thank you

I know asda (others are available) does a veg gel
