Noth and annie, a number of family members live in a sleepy little town, for years they worked in the local factories and on the land, so they weren't lazy Brits, but hard working, who have now been laid off, and guess what, Eastern Europeans have been employed, being paid less, so the folks are a little aggrieved. You don't think it can happen ?
i don't know what the answer is, nor do i think these are isolated incidents, but you know what it's up to the politicians to sort it out.

I can only say that it is progress. The world changes, and unfortunately britain is now part of europe, there is no way that it can be brought back to be england, or Scotland or wales. the transition has happened. we now need to police the alien population and, not my idea, just the millioms of real brits, some who are early immigrants from the 50's, who are now british, even though they may be not white skinnned, time to stop the influx, and any taliens that commit crimes, send them back to their homeland. Surely modern technology can eye scan etc. at the airports/docks. keep the villains out.let the good guys in.

atalanta, sounds good, won't happen. I heard one minister discuss the matter of having a registration of all who come into Britain to live, work, study, i think it's a good point, but that won't happen either.

Yes. Because we are too lax. I went to a car wash recently. Nobody understood that that I wanted my car washed. They called over the only one who could possibly understand and he was (I think) from the Caribbean. It is becoming ridiculous but we dare not say so.
