never mind, gness, the best jokes take a while to catch on. It's a lovely day here, the wind is rustling the palm trees, and we're getting the barbie out. Had some gorgesous beef kebabs marinated in ruby red port last night but today it will be lamb steaks.

Where are you? I've had a nice Indian meal tonight with a friend. I'm a really lousy hostess....Would you like to come to dinner on Friday?...Good bring food. I make it fun when people get here though...just like to skip the cooking bit.
We have been friends for forty years...you'd think we wouldn't have enough left to talk about to keep us yakking til nearly 3am.
