Parking At Disney Florida
Is there such a thing as a weekly/2 weekly parking pass for visiting the theme parks? $14 a day seems such a lot to pay on top of the tickets.
Thanks

That's Disney for you, charge as much as they can get away with.
Same as the food and drink in the park, you are a captive audience so have to pay what they charge.
They have the nice Disney characters making them seem a friendly family company but they are ruthless.
To give you an idea of how much money they have, when Jeffrey Katzenburg left the company (he had made Lion King and other films) he was given a 250 MILLION dollar pay off.
We all helped to pay for that.

I wouldnt want to go there for a full 14 days.! As far as I know there isnt a weekly pass......we went on october. So you will either have to go by bus.....can be a nightmare getting out of there and on a bus at the end of the day though. Or pay for parking. We go for a whole day.......from when they open to close. After doing that you would not want to do it again for a few days. And could most likely do everything you want to in that day or two.
It seems that it's definitely just a daily rate (unless you're staying at the resorts or you've got an annual pass to them). However you can move between the parks on the same day and only pay one $14 fee:

As you are probably aware a hire car is a must if you are going to get around with ease .
The disney Resort alone is vast - the size of Manchester and the individual parks are spread around the resort , so they have got you by the long and curlys .
That's just Disney - as you are aware there are loads of other - Universal Studios etc etc
Depending on where you are staying , there are usually shuttle buses to the resorts from hotels , but we found that a hire car was the best option , for flexibility and convenience .
As for lilacben's comment below -

Dont you beleive it - you'll need a lot more than a day or two to do the Disney experience justice ( unless your are only interested in a couple of the parks )

I've just found out that from 1st January 2013 Florida brought in a new law which requires any drivers having a driving licence issued outside of the US to also have an International Driving Permit. If you do not have one a law enforcement office can put you straight in jail or can make you attend court.
