Hoping someone can help in Microsoft Word, how do you set up the automatic index page at the front of a document?

Is this only available in a particular version of Word?

Thanks!

I assume it is a table of contents you mean rather than an index. I am using Word 2003 but think the facility is available in ealier versions. If you open the Insert menu, it is under Reference > Index and table. The easiest way to use the facility is to make sure you use the built-in heading styles and it will be created automatically. Search the help for "table of contents" for more info.
