Old Name On Profile

Why am I still called by by old name on my profile. This is the first time Ive logged in since it was changed last week so Im hoping perhaps that is the reason and it will alter after this xx fingers crossed

Some names weren't available, or acceptable.
Ed did put a list on the original thread, though I can't post you the link I'm afraid. Have a look though :)

thanks, I suppose I really should have checked to see if there was already a post about it but was in such a hurry to get on here for half an hour before dashing off to work. I will be patient and see what happens then. Thanks again

Yours was on the list, always broke so it is probably one of the problem cases Ed says is being looked at.
Have you logged out completely from your old ID, unchecked the 'remember my user name' box and cleared your cache- that might help

I signed out and back in. It doesnt accept my new name but accepted my new password which Ive changed to remember easier with my new name. Apparently Im stuck in the system, so I will try it again tomorrow
