Gas Cooker Too Efficient!
8 Answers
We bought a new gas cooker in Comet's closing-down sale, and we like it very much, it's very controllable, except for not being able to very slowly simmer soups and suchlike - even the smallest ring, on the lowest setting, will quickly bring everything to the boil. My missis says there used to be some sort of 'spreader' gadgets that dissipated the heat somehow. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks....G

My friend the Corgi central heating bloke says what am I moaning about? I suppose we just got used to the inefficient bog-standard performance of our old cooker. Thank you Heathfield, I will order a couple of those thingies you mention, and I thank you all again, much appreciated.
