Speed Camera/laser Warning Devices

Please can anyone recommend a good Speed camera/laser warning device for the car that works well, is easy to use and does not cost too much.

Apart from regular glances at the speedometer, I find the sat nav is good- it beeps to warn me when I'm exceeding the speed limit

There is a device that will stop speed cameras and laser devices from operating, it's called a speedometer.

A lot of satnavs will tell you the location of fixed cameras, and areas where mobile cameras are often located.

Why do you need to know where the safety cameras are? If you're keeping to the speed limits all a camera is to you is a yellow box on a stick at the side of the road.

Devices which use GPS to tell you when you are approaching a 'safety camera' are perfectly legal in the UK

Can the po-faced 'stay within the limits' posters here say honestly that they have never accidentally drifted over the limit?

Given the deliberate 'revenue raising' locations of many cameras I feel it is prudent to be advised when I am approaching one, in case I am inadvertently speeding.

Just to clarify... The objective here is NOT to enable people to speed without being caught, I am looking for a device to help people be more aware, keep within the limits and drive more safely. i.e Warn/remind of speed limits as you drive, alert of cameras, accident blackspots etc.

My satnav also shows the current speed limit as well
(though it is not always right, so you have to keep an eye on the signs)
