Well mankind was made in his image so ... I'd say yes.
Who knows ? It's your religion you opt for whichever works for you.

Would a superior being be crippled by emotions ? Or are they necessary for understanding ? Over all I'd suspect a diety not to have weaknesses but to achieve understanding some other way.
Just be happy with your own beliefs, don't inflict them on others.
Well, according to myth, mankind was made in gods image. No proof of that actually happening.

No proof of god, either. Reality does not work on the principle that just because you have faith or belief in something, that something exists or happens.

So, before we even get onto the pointless topic of whether god has feelings or not, first prove that there is a god....
Read your Old Testament, (book of Esther, especially) and you'll see that its god constantly suffers from genocidal rage. And jealousy. ( that's in the commandments !)
Or so it is claimed by those recruiting at the time.
Mrs.WW is my god and she certainly has.
He must have a hide like a rhinoceros to be able to stand by and watch what has been done "in his image" for the last two thousand years !
Deuteronomy 6:15
"For the LORD your God who is among you is a jealous God. He will turn his anger against you and destroy you from the surface of the land."

This passage would suggest yes.

Not very friendly behaviour from a deity that preaches love and forgiveness. Smells like hypocrisy to me!

because you missed out the most important part of the
quotation and why he is a jealous god
by only quoting a part of the quotation -----is like whispers
deuteronoma 4--- 14 --18

16 Do not test the Lord your God as you did at Massah

Exodus 17:2) And the people fell to quarreling with Moses and saying: "Give us water that we may drink."
But Moses said to them: "Why are YOU quarreling with me? Why do YOU
keep putting god to the test?"
(Deuteronomy 33:8) 8 Moses said this about the people of Levi:
"Lord, your Thummim and Urim [belongto ·Levi, whom you love
[L your loyal one].
Lord, you tested him at Massah and argued with him at the waters of
Meribah

to ·Levi, whom you love [L your loyal one].Lord, you tested him at Massah
and argued with him at the waters of Meribah
(Psalm 95:8) Do not harden YOUR heart as at Mertibah day i·bah,
As in days of Mas′sah in the wilderness,
(Hebrews 3:8)
do not harden YOUR hearts as on the occasion of causing bitter anger,
as is the day of making the test in the wilderness,
Arrgh! Trying to decode locusts posts and understand the point they are trying to make really hurts my head.

Can you try and explain the point you were trying to make in your last post again, locust?

It would also help if, rather than type your own name in front of or above text you are entering, you would type the name of the person to whom you are directing the point - And if you are quoting another poster, it would help if you said so and made it clearer that is what you are doing.

Otherwise, it created headaches trying to decipher your meaning :)

I try to answer your question as simply as possible.

riskybiscuit // Deuteronomy 6:15

did not quote the full scripture properly so this made this question invalid because he did not give the reason or explanation //

for jealous God

he was going to destroy the Israelites because off their persistence in disobedience

they would say one thing //and completely to another (idol worship)

why were they left in the wilderness for 40 years

because of their disobedience to create they made an oath or a promise they would follow him and keep his laws .They did not keep

The God of the Israelites //at one point was going to destroy.
and take another people for himself.

but Moses pleaded on their behalf for another chance .
and once again the creator had a change of heart.

Deuteronomy 6:15

what would you do is someone had promise faithfully to do

something for you and you asked them over and over for this
help ????????????????????????????????????
//The God of the Israelites //at one point was going to destroy.
and take another people for himself.//

If he created all humanity, I have to wonder why he preferred one group over another.
"For the LORD your God who is among you is a jealous God. He will turn his anger against you and destroy you from the surface of the land."

yes, sounds like a kind, gentle all forgiving sort of bloke
