Vauxhall Corsa Wiper Problems

Has anyone experienced intermittent problems with the windscreen wipers on a Corsa? Mine dont park where they should, they stop randomly.

Open the end bit where it goes on the spindle to see it there is a loose nut. If not there maybe a loose wire. Go to the wiper motor to see if the live feed has power all the time while holding a lightpowered testing screwdiver while intermittent is working. Power comes from the relay and not the motor.

had same prob when took a corsa diesel for MOT.

all it was is were the wipers are bolted onto car earlier models had problems were the end of the arm bolted to the car wears away. all you should need to do is take them off and get some replacement ones, i paid �10 from scrappers for arms and two new wipers from an R reg corsa. took me 5-10 mins to do at scrap yard.

make sure you fit them when the engine is off and wiper connecters are in return place, take old ones off, put new pair on in the place were they should return to and bolts back on but not too tight as it will wear them or snap them, besides damaging the whole unit. you might have to adjust them to get them to retun to right place depends how good a judge you are when fiiting them and tightening bolts .
