I'm doing rib of Donald Russel's Aberdeen Angus beef, Yorkshire pud, roast parsnips, roast potatoes, new potatoes, carrots, spring greens, and broccoli and cauliflower florets, garden peas. Horseradish sauce and gravy. It's help yourself to veg so you can have a much or a little as you like
Lemon meringue pie, or coffee ice cream with chocolate sauce - this menu requested by my brother (Happy Birthday bro!) whom we have here today along with his lovely wife and scrumptious 3 month old baby, James!

I've just come in from the snow -yes coming down like billy-o here -to the house smelling of roasting turkey - will serve it with potatoes roasted in goose fat (I can't have any as on a diet) spring greens, cauliflower cheese and carrots with grass clipping butter (parsley). OH will make the Yorkshires cos mine always turn out like pancakes, and we have a trifle for afters which will probably be eaten while watching call the midwife .
