hi every night my man comes home from work has loads to drink goes to sleep about 8 and im bored for the rest of the night thats not just 1 night thats every night

Cazxx1, sounds like you will put up with this because he is lovely. However, no need to be bored in the evenings. You just need to find things to do while he sleeps.

If you want to know what you can do while he sleeps, it all depends on what you like to do.
If you want to stay in, then it is something on the internet - play bingo, enter competitions etc Read newspapers, research things that interest you.
If you want to go out, then have a look at local evening classes (the library will have handouts). You can also meet up with friends.
This is your life. Dont waste it.

I don`t think the problem is that you are bored and need things to do. I think he has a drink problem and needs to address it.

Cook, paint, build a computer, write a book, convert the loft, read, visit friends, go dancing, volunteer, ANYTHING you like.

all kids have left home..dont get me wrong I love him to bits he works hard...but sometimes I just get bored ma ybe I am just being selfish.....but I just get bored xx

I would not be home when he gets in. No dinner. Go see a film visit a mate anything but just not be there for a couple of nights. Come in after he has gone to bed .
