Internet Explorer

Anyone advise why when I try to open Internet Explorer I get three screens trying to open. This has happened since I went on to facebook and could not get off again.

It may be trying to reopen the last session when you had 3 windows open ? What happens when you leave it to finish ?

The screens do not actually open, I get message saying that they are not responding and asking me if I wish toend programme, which I did,

Are you getting 3 separate pages trying to open, or is it 3 tabs on one page trying to open ??

Re INTERNET EXPLORER - I have tried to open IE again and now all THREE screens have opened?!!

Is it 3 separate browser windows, or is it 1 browser window with 3 tabs?

Try a test by starting Internet Explorer as follows:

- Click 'Windows Start' icon
- In the 'Search programs and files' / 'Run' tab enter the following text
IEXPLORE www.google.co.uk
then press the 'Return/Enter' key on the keyboard

IE should open up with the Google Page. Does that work ok?

IE is not the best of Browsers and it does sometimes behave strangely.

Try something else. You can have as many Browsers as you wish and make the one you really like as the default item. I have Firefox as my default, but also have IE; Google Chrome and Safari.
