No one on here has ever said Afghanistan is better than the UK.
People on here will comment when police officers are caught selling stories to the News of the World or commiting perjury because that is against the law. On the whole the police do a very difficult job well. But if some officers do not live up to what is expected of them, then it is fair for us to comment on it.

Ethical behaviour is not a relative concept
I can't turn up in court and excuse a speeding ticket by saying - 'At least I'm not committing burglary'
In the same way pointing at the behaviour of other forces does not let us say
'At least British forces have only beaten one hotel receptionist to death - so that's all right'
